Send a sketch, a sentence, a screenshot. Whatever you've got. I read it myself and respond the same day. That's how this works.
There's no portal. No queue. No bot. You hear from a person, and that person stays on your project until it's delivered.
From the day your brief arrives to the end of your last Lifeware cycle. No handoffs. No queues.
14 hours.Brief to plan.
From the moment you send a brief to when a plan lands in your inbox. The industry average is 3–5 days. We commit to 14 hours — and it's in the contract.
Your message lands in the queue. Acknowledged by a Specialist within the hour during business hours.
A named person takes ownership of your brief. They begin researching suppliers from the workshop network.
A full sourcing plan — line items, supplier names, costs, lead times — in your inbox. Industry average: 3–5 days.
Any changes, swaps, or questions get answered. The plan is refined with your feedback. No extra charge.
A BoldSign contract lands — supplier cost plus 20%. You review, you sign. That's the deal.
"First plan within 14 hours or the first revision is complimentary."
This commitment is written into every contract.
Flat. Always.On supplier cost only.
Supplier sends us an invoice. We send you that number plus twenty percent. That's the whole formula. There's no hidden side commission, no markup on the markup, no "design fee" on top. One line. Auditable.
DAF fee is fixed by model design — always 20%, no exceptions. Competitor figures are industry-standard published ranges.
Set your budget.See exactly what DAF costs.
Drag the slider to your total project budget. Every number below updates in real time — supplier cost, DAF fee, and what you'd pay with a traditional 30% design markup.
With DAF, you keep $7K more in your pocket at this budget.
vs 30% designer modelEstimates only. Your quote shows exact supplier prices.
Everything included.Nothing hidden.
Your Specialist reads the brief and identifies which workshops in the network are best suited to each piece. This is the core sourcing judgment.
A written document with every piece, its workshop, the supplier price, the DAF fee, and the lead time — on the same lines. Sent before you sign anything.
A 3-page agreement covering every piece, the specification, the payment schedule, and the warranty terms. One document. One signature.
We request production photography from the workshop before dispatch. For larger or custom orders, we arrange a third-party inspection at the workshop before shipping.
Logistics briefed and coordinated to your door. You receive a 4-hour delivery window 72 hours in advance. You don't manage freight.
Pieces are carried in, placed per the floor plan, and packaging is removed. Your Specialist or the lead installer walks every piece with you before the crew leaves.
A permanent document sent at delivery. Every piece, its workshop, its warranty contact, and the Lifeware schedule — yours to keep and reference.
Your Specialist reaches out 18 months after delivery. Remote assessment of condition and wear. No charge. No action required unless something needs attention.
In-depth review — physical condition, design refresh options, what to keep, what to replace. A written report. You decide what to act on.
DAF sources what you specify. If you need full design direction, that's a different service — one we can refer you to.
The fee is 20% of what the workshop charges us. There is no list price inflated before the 20% is applied.
Freight coordination is included. There are no shipping surcharges, handling fees, or delivery premiums added after the fact.
If a piece needs a warranty claim, your Specialist files it. You don't contact the manufacturer. There is no charge to initiate a claim.
Supplier cost plus 20%. That's the total. No exceptions, no additions. The 9 above are what the 20% buys — from the first brief to the Year 5 review. The only additional cost is if you act on a Lifeware refresh, which generates a new order at the same 20% fee.
Three clauses. The ones that actually matter to clients.
The full client agreement is 8 pages. Below are the three clauses most clients ask about first. The rest are available before you sign.
“The Service Fee shall be calculated as twenty percent (20%) of the Supplier Cost for each line item as confirmed in the Sourcing Plan. No additional charges, commissions, or markups shall be applied beyond the stated Service Fee. The Supplier Cost and Service Fee shall be itemized and visible to the Client in the Sourcing Plan prior to execution of this Agreement.”
We charge 20% of what the supplier charges us. That's it. You see the number before you sign.
“DAF shall assign one (1) named Specialist to each Client Account. The assigned Specialist shall maintain primary responsibility for all communications, sourcing decisions, and delivery coordination for the duration of the engagement and any subsequent Lifeware enrollment periods. Client shall be notified in writing prior to any reassignment, which shall only occur in the event of Specialist unavailability.”
One person handles your project start to finish. If that ever changes, we tell you in writing first.
“In the event that a Supplier fails to deliver within the Lead Time Band as specified in Schedule A, DAF shall apply the applicable Penalty Clause provisions to the Supplier Agreement. Any material delay exceeding seven (7) business days shall be disclosed to the Client within forty-eight (48) hours of DAF's awareness of such delay. Remediation costs arising from Supplier delay shall be borne by DAF, not by the Client.”
If a delivery runs late, we tell you within 48 hours. Penalty clauses hit the supplier, not you.
The full DAF client agreement is available upon request before any brief is submitted. It is 8 pages. No surprises.
